You can help AVENS in providing safe, quality services for our NWT seniors by considering renting one of our many boardroom/meeting room and kitchen combinations. AVENS can cater everything from small corporate meetings, to presentations and team events. All our rooms enjoy natural light and have all the modern day equipment to handle any occasion you have in mind. When you are booking with us, rest assured your money is going towards the betterment of seniors and their care.

Hunter Foot Health offers medical footcare by a registered nurse. Call (867) 446-5634 to book an appointment. Located on the second floor of our Aven Pavilion.

We are proud to feature a beautifully designed movie theatre within Avens Pavilion, offering residents a comfortable and enjoyable cinematic experience. A new movie is showcased every Thursday at 7:00 PM, providing a wonderful opportunity to relax, socialize, and enjoy quality entertainment close to home. This amenity is exclusively available to residents of Avens.

services offered for all Seniors and for all members of the Yellowknife Seniors Society. Operating in both English and French, two Notary Publics on-site offer all duties including Commissioner for oaths, affidavits, statutory declarations, affirmations, and certification of true copies of documents. Appointments are not necessary although appointments are encouraged to ensure availability. These services are being provided FREE of charge for all Seniors. Non-seniors and the general public will be encouraged to donate to AVENS in lieu of payment.

We are pleased to offer our residents access to the dedicated Yoga and Dance Studio here at Avens. Free yoga classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 AM, exclusively for residents of Aven Pavilion, Aven Court, and Aven Ridge. Located on the second floor in the Aven Pavilion.
