Visitors Information

Visitation:

Visiting Hours: Monday to Sunday 8am to 10pm

Monday to Friday between 8am to 4pm visitors can enter via the administration wing. On evenings, weekends and Stat holidays visitors will need to enter at the employee entrance. The side doors at the Manor and Territorial Dementia Centre will no longer be in use.

 

Phase 2 of Long-Term Care Emerging Wisely:

Phase 2 of Long-Term Care Emerging Wisely will be in place until at least July 31, 2022.

 

Employees:

COVID19 testing will occur on Mondays and Thursdays

Employees are required to perform hand hygiene when entering AVENS

Employees are required to complete passive COVID19 screening on IPAD, when arriving to work

Employees are required to wear a mask in Resident care areas.

RCA and Housekeepers working in the units are required to change their clothes at the beginning of their shift.

RCA’s working directly with residents will be required to wear eye protection

 

Residents:

Residents are able to go on pass day and overnight passes.  

If a resident is having COVID19 symptoms, they will require a COVID19 test and go into isolation as per policy

 

Visitors:

Visiting hours are Monday to Sunday 8am to 10pm.

Visitors can enter AVENS during the week, Monday to Friday8am to 4pm) via the Administration wing.

Afterhours (4pm), weekends and STAT holidays ass visitors will be required to enter via the after hours entrance (to the left of the administration entrance)

Visitors will be required to complete hand hygiene when entering the building and passive COVID19 screening on the provided IPAD.

Visitors are required to wear masks while in the resident care areas and for the duration of their visit.
