Resident Care Team Lead - Full-Time, 12 Month Term

Reporting to the Care Supervisor, the Resident Care Team Leader (RCTL) is primarily responsible for ensuring all resident care requirements are carried out and met in a safe, timely and effective manner within the parameters of AVENS – A Community for Seniors policies and procedures, legislated requirements, and accreditation and professional standards of care.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (RNANT/NU)
  • Experience working with an elderly population and individuals with dementia is preferred
  • Must be able to obtain, provide and maintain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check

Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.

Pay and Benefits

SALARY: $50.68-57.39 per hour

PENSION PLAN: Only available after 12 months

GROUP BENEFITS: As per Collective Agreement, after 3 months

VACATION: As per Collective Agreement, starting at 3 weeks

SICK LEAVE: As per Collective Agreement
