AVENS currently has a permanent and exciting role available in the Care Department for a Resident Care Team Leads- Full-time Permanent, Resident Care Team Leads- Full-time Term.
Reporting to the Care Supervisor, the Resident Care Team Leader (RCTL) is primarily responsible for ensuring all resident care requirements are carried out and met in a safe, timely and effective manner within the parameters of AVENS – A Community for Seniors policies and procedures, legislated requirements, and accreditation and professional standards of care.
Education and Experience Requirements
v Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (RNANT/NU)
v Experience working with an elderly population and individuals with dementia is preferred
v Must be able to obtain, provide and maintain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check

Pay and Benefits
SALARY: $49.81-$56.40 per hour
PENSION PLAN: As per Collective Agreement, after 12 months
GROUP BENEFITS: As per Collective Agreement, after 3 months
VACATION: As per Collective Agreement
SICK LEAVE: As per Collective Agreement
