Reporting to the Volunteer and Recreation Supervisor, The Recreation Coordinator is responsible for organizing, implementing and coordinating group activities to enhance the social, physical and psychological well-being of residents at AVENS – A Community for Seniors.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Education or training related to Recreation Therapy
- Current certification in Standard First Aid, CPR (level C)
- Experience working with an elderly population and individuals with dementia is preferred
- Must be able to obtain, provide and maintain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check

Pay and Benefits
SALARY: $37.71-$42.75 per hour
